2. How to adapt the “Level Expander”?

  1. Take off the pressure plate of your ligature: Firmly hold the main screw (or the base) and unscrew the little central retaining screw (M3×6 mm).
  2. Place the longer little central retaining screw (M3×8 mm) on the pressure plate. Put the expander between the pressure plate and the main screw (or the base) of your ligature and screw it back until tight.
  3. When tight, unscrew the retaining screw for 180° to give the plate the ability to move freely and perfectly adapt to the reed.
